From the inkwell to the pen and the boos: Carlos III stars in a new controversy

Viral has made the controversial gesture of Charles III when asking one of his assistants to remove an inkwell from the table in which he would sign his proclamation as king last Saturday. After this, the new monarch has once again starred in an uncomfortable situation this Friday.

On his arrival in Cardiff, the father of the Prince Guillermo y Harry was received between shouts and boos by the citizens who demanded the expenses of the crown after the death of the Queen isabel II.

“While we fight to heat our homes, we have to pay for your parade. The taxpayer pays for you, and for what?” A Welshman told the monarch, who chose to turn his back on him and continue greeting the rest of those present.

However, not everyone received him in the same way. To avoid situations like the inkwell, one of the citizens decided to give him a pen. “Just in case,” she told him. The king took the detail with humor.
