From Meryl Streep to Heidi Klum: a ‘glam’ splurge on the first Cannes red carpet

A new edition of the Cannes Festival. The actress, who will receive the Palme d’Or of Honor at the opening ceremony, exuded glamor on the first red carpet with a simple draped white dress, with French sleeves and a discreet train with a matching clutch.

At 74 years old, Meryl Streep will be awarded for his artistic career. The actress already has a record of awards, including 3 Oscars, 8 Golden Globes and two BAFTAs thanks to hits such as Sophie’s Choice, Out of Africa, Kramer vs. Kramer, Mamma Mia! or The devil wears Prada.

It has not gone unnoticed either. Jane Fonda. The interpreter of Us at Night has posed in a black suit with a short jacket and delicate floral embroidery in sequins and crystals. She has also combined it with a fluid animal-print coat and a flattering beauty-look with soft 20s waves.

The French actress has been one of the most elegant with a long-sleeved dress with a bardot neckline, a straight skirt and a drape at the waist from which a rear train emerges. For her hair she has chosen a Wet Lookthat wet hair effect that sweeps the catwalks.

Heidi Klum She has been crowned as one of the sexiest of the evening with a puffy dress, wide front opening and very generous crossover neckline. She has combined it with ‘Cinderella’ shoes and some striking diamond earrings.
