French goalkeeper Lecomte will play on loan at Espanyol next season

BARCELONA, 13 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

French goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte will play for RCD Espanyol next season on loan from AS Monaco and will be on loan for the second time after being part of the Atlético de Madrid discipline, where he did not make his debut.

“RCD Espanyol and AS Mónaco FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Benjamin Lecomte (Paris, 4-26-1991), who last season was part of the Atlético de Madrid discipline”, announced the club ‘perico ‘.

The new blue and white player, who has already passed the relevant medical examination, will be presented this Thursday and becomes the fourth reinforcement of Diego Martínez’s team. Lecomte had an outstanding career at Lorient and made his Ligue 1 debut at the age of 19, before making the leap to Montpellier, where he practically played everything.

The goalkeeper continued his career with another of the leading teams in French football: AS Monaco. International for France in the lower categories, he was also summoned by the senior team without making his debut.
