Franco Acosta, former Villarreal player, was found dead

Santander, was found dead on Monday, after he disappeared on Saturday while trying to swim across a stream in the department of Canelones, in the south of his country.

According to sources from the National Navy, the body of the young man was found practically in the same place where it had been seen for the last time. Acosta, 25, was wanted by the maritime authorities since Saturday. Born in March 1996, the footballer began his professional career at the Phoenix, where he debuted in 2013.
