The coach Francisco Rodríguez has been dismissed as coach of Elche CF after the defeat (2-1) against Rayo Vallecano this Monday in Vallecas in the match that closed the seventh day of LaLiga Santander, as reported by the Elche club on its official website .
“The Elche Club de Fútbol communicates that Francisco Rodríguez will not continue as coach of the first team. The club wants to thank the coach for the work and commitment during his time as a franjiverde, achieving permanence in LaLiga Santander last season”, indicated the note from the green-fringed entity.
The Andalusian coach arrived at Elche CF last season 2021-22 replacing Fran Escribá and achieved the goal of permanence, but this season the team is bottom with one point in seven games. Francisco Rodríguez thus becomes the first manager dismissed in LaLiga Santander.
