Francho Serrano renews until 2025

Francho Serrano and Real Zaragoza They have agreed to extend the contract that united both until June 30, so the club and the youth squad join their paths for at least three more seasons.

“The renewal of the 20-year-old midfielder’s contract is part of Real Zaragoza’s policy of betting on young footballers, from the house, who fully identify with the club and with the fans and with a margin of progression that, in Franco’s case makes us think that ‘The Best Is To Come’, as the main argument of the campaign says”, highlights the Aragonese club.

They also explain from the ‘blanquillo’ group that, as Franco has always recognizedbeing part of Real Zaragoza’s first team is a dream come true and that the academy player does not play like any other player, “he lives it like a player from Zaragoza”.

Francho Serrano Grace (Zaragoza, 10/17/2001) embodies the values of Zaragoza like nobody else: race, dedication, sacrifice, rasmia and quality that have led him to consolidate himself in just two campaigns as one of the most important assets of the Aragonese squad”, he highlights Real Saragossa.

In the last two seasons, the youth squad has participated in 66 official matches with the first team, exceeding 2,000 minutes in each of them, also contributing four goals.

“But also, Francho’s case entails an undoubted sentimental bondl: A member of Real Zaragoza since he was a child and a Zaragoza player by birth, like his whole family, before becoming a first-team footballer he was just another fan, even traveling to away games or to the 2006 Copa del Rey final in the Santiago Bernabéu, for example”, reveals the maño club.

His career within the club began at the age of 12, when he joined the Real Zaragoza junior team from Club Deportivo Oliver. Since then he has gone through all the lower categories of the club until his debut with the first team on November 1, 2020, against Mallorca at La Romareda.

Within his career as a Zaragoza player, the League championship and the title of Champion of Champions of Spain in the 2018/19 season stand out as his greatest achievement in the lower categories, which also allowed him to qualify to play in the UEFA Youth League during the following season.
