France repeats World Cup final after eliminating Morocco

MADRID, 14 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The French team eliminated Morocco (2-0) this Wednesday in the semifinals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to meet Argentina in the final of the tournament, where they will seek to repeat the title achieved four years ago and the third of their record.

The defending champions will repeat the final, on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Lusail Stadium, thanks to goals by Theo Hernandez, after five minutes, and Randal Kolo Muani, in the 79th minute. Morocco, the first African team to play a World Cup semifinal, reacted at the start of the second half, but did not find the goal.
