Forecasts are overflowing at Atlético. Once one hundred percent of the capacity has been allowed in the Metropolitan Wanda, the rojiblanco club opened the admission of new subscribers for the 2021-22 season and the response from the rojiblanca social mass has been spectacular. Atlético began on Friday the admission of non-subscribers registered on the waiting list that has priority over non-members. In the first twenty-four hours, a thousand new subscribers were made, a sign of the interest that the rojblanco team arouses among its fans.

On Monday, admission will be open to people registered on the waiting list who are not members, who will have the possibility to buy their pass until Wednesday, October 12. On Thursday, all seats that have not been purchased as season tickets will be released to be sold as tickets for the Champions League match against Liverpool and for the next LaLiga match at home against Real Sociedad.

Atlético will continue to sell season tickets until reaching 58,000 subscribers, recovering the existing level before the pandemic. Then, in the 2019-20 season, the rojiblanca entity had 58,000 subscribers, of which 54,000 were general capacity and 4,000 were VIP capacity.

Due to the pandemic, Atlético had not been able to admit new subscribers. This caused the waiting list to reach a considerable volume, to the point that more than 8,000 people have registered on the waiting list who have requested a total of 12,000 season tickets (some people have asked to buy several tickets for their family or friends).

Unlike previous seasons, this time the entire process is online, so it is not necessary to go to the stadium offices. Those interested connect to a website where they can see all the seats available in the stadium and select the one they like. They must also choose between a full subscription, which allows them to attend the LaLiga, Champions and Copa de Rey matches that are played at the Wanda Metropolitano, starting with the Liverpool game that will be played on Tuesday, October 19, or purchase the Only LaLiga season ticket. Then the subscribers make the payment online. Subsequently, the subscription will be collected at the member service office, at which time the club will also take a photograph of it that will be added to its membership record.
