Neymar’s future remains unknown no matter how clear the player is to follow at PSG. The Brazilian has consistently reiterated that he wants to continue, but the Parisian team does not want him to continue. In an interview with Canal +, the PSG crack blessed the decision to renew Kylian Mbappé and also defended his partner and friend Messi.
“I confess that I didn’t know about it until the last moment. I found out a day before the announcement. I was very happy, I was very happy that Kylian decided to stay. I think the PSG project is the right one for his career. For his career, it’s good that he stays a few more years at PSG, that he tries to win a Champions League in his country, with the team from his city. So I think it’s the right choice. Maybe he wants to change his mind and play for another team in the future, but I think his decision to stay is the right one. Having players like Kylian in the team is always very important,” Neymar stressed about Mbappé’s renewal.
Regarding Messi, he said: “Leo has spent many years in Barcelona. It is difficult to adapt. It is difficult to change teams and cities. Also, he came with his family. The language is also different. There are many confusing things. There is also the style of play of the team, with players who do not understand how they play. So all of that is detrimental. Leo, Kylian and I are players who are always judged on performance, stats, titles won, everything. We know our responsibilities and that’s why we always try to do our best.”
