Font and Xavi's letter: “It was written a month and a half ago”

The candidate for the presidency of FC Barcelona Victor Font explained that “Xavi Hernández's letter was written a month and a half ago and it simply talks about his relationship with Qatar on the country's national day” in the presentation of three new directives for his candidacy: Annamari Basora, Carolina Fabregat and María José Balañá.

Furthermore, he added that “It would not make sense for Xavi to have exclusivity with a candidate, but we have been working with him for five years and we have a joint project worked on.”

On the other hand, in the act held at the electoral headquarters of the Olivia Balmes Hotel in Barcelona Font said that “for Barça to reach the 21st century it needs to normalize the role of women and we will have five female managers.”

Annamari Basora (Manresa, 1961) is director of communication and sponsorship of 'La Vanguardia' and on the Font board she would be in the social and institutional area; Carolina Fabregat (Barcelona, ​​1987) is a founding partner and director of Food Haven and would dedicate herself to the economic field; and María José Balañá (Barcelona, ​​1957) is responsible for the entertainment sector in the Grup Balañá and would be part of the social and institutional area.

Font also announced that if on January 24 he gets the presidency of FC Barcelona “he will create a synchronized swimming section”.
