Five big mistakes that have thrown Barça in LaLiga

Very large individual errors have Barça thrown off the table. Closer to relegation than title. Already twelve points. Messi does not make the difference as before, but what is penalizing Barça the most at this point is not its lack of success, but improper failures of a big club that now cost him more than in times of splendor, when he was able to turn any result around. Now every mistake is a slab in the form of loss of points.

Barça's first came in Getafe, with a child penalty from Frenkie de Jong on Djené. In a play in which the Dutchman only had to protect his position, since the Getafe center-back was not in an advantageous situation, he overwhelmed him. Barça was not able to lift Jaime Mata's goal. Against Madrid, Lenglet fell into the trap of Ramos, who grabbed him and then forced Martínez Munuera to go to VAR. Lenglet starred in a similar action in Cádiz, but it is clear that he has not earned the respect of the referees. Surely because of mistakes like Carranza's, nobody pays attention to him.

Plus. In the Alavés field, Piqué and Neto made a mess in an action that did not involve problems of any kind. The center-back compromised the Brazilian goalkeeper for no reason, who found the ball on top and reacted badly. Luis Rioja scored a goal that prevented the victory of a Barça that left another two points in Vitoria.

Hence, to Wanda, where the first commandment is not to give away in demanding matches to Atlético. On the edge of the break, Dembélé wanted to dribble himself and lost the ball. The rojiblancos hit a ball and Piqué tried a senseless control that went away. Ter Stegen, as advanced as he was out of place, was mocked by Carrasco, which scored 1-0. A result that no longer moved.

Cádiz was the icing on the cake. The triple error by Alba, Lenglet and Ter Stegen, which ended with Negredo's goal, brought out the worst in this Barça. Those three players were in Liverpool when Alexander-Arnold took the corner that Origi punished with 4-0 while they watched the grass or The Kop. Barça does not seem to have learned since then. And that has not stopped giving displeasure to its people. From Barça that has played with pride and has sweated in the Champions League, to this one in LaLiga, there is an abyss. It's time for Koeman to start dealing with his players. Beyond the fact that Messi no longer wins games as before, that there are deficiencies in decisive positions such as central or forward, if Barça lost LaLiga in December it was because of his bad head.
