“First steps to renew Messi”, according to MD and Sport

The parties, however, want to be discreet from the beginning. The talks, which will be personally led by the president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, will not be broadcast from Barça. Meanwhile, and according to Mundo Deportivo, from the Messi environment a first contact between the parties is not ruled out, but not to start the negotiation but in the framework of “preliminary talks”.

Renew Leo Messi is the great objective of Josep Maria Bartomeu in the last year of the Argentine's mandate, which ends in 2021, but which everyone expects to see many more years of Barça.
