Saying goodbye, at least temporarily, to a glorious television career and the program he led for 14 years is not easy. On leave since last May 17, Jorge Javier Vazquez was not in the last Save mebroadcast last Friday June 23, and he did not even have the strength to see it from his living room.
This is how he assures this Wednesday Lectures, the magazine friend of the communicator, which publishes this Wednesday, June 28, the first images of Jorge after the end of the Telecinco evening program. He appears at the gates of the Argüelles Specialties Center, in Madrid. This medical appointment took place just three days after the end of Save me. Jorge added: “But sometimes you have to stop. The body and mind send you signals and throughout my life I have paid little attention to them. Until today. I need to stop to take care of myself. To ask myself what I want. If I have it clear If I don’t know, I better wait.”
The presenter sentenced his publication with some parting words: “Right now, going back is the last thing on my mind, although it may be what I feel like the most tomorrow. I don’t know. So for now I can only say ‘Goodbye ‘. ‘Until when I can.’ ‘Until it arises.’ And, above all, thank you. Thanks to you, it was worth it.”

After a decade of glory and two years of decline, Save me said goodbye to the screens as the longest-running evening program on Spanish television. Following the docuseries of Rocio Carrascothe format of La Fábrica de la Tele entered into an internal war with the producer of Ana Rosa Quintana (Unicorn Content).
She will be in charge of replacing Save me starting in September, when Sandra Barneda pull the curtain This is life. The Code of Ethics implemented by the new Mediaset leadership in February also prohibited entertainment programs from talking about politics, which is why Jorge Javier saw his characteristic claims from his farmhouse alibis.
