The Finnish power forward Alexander Madsen became a new MoraBanc Andorra player this Friday, with a contract until the end of the season, to experience a second stage in the Endesa League after his time at Dreamland Gran Canaria in 2018.
“The Finnish power forward is the new piece that will defend the colors of BC MoraBanc Andorra until the end of the season,” the Andorran team announced on its official website.
Madsen, 28 years old and 2.08 tall, arrives from VEF Riga in Latvia, where he was playing in the Estonian league and the FIBA Champions League. In addition, the power forward is international with Finland and played in the last World Cup last summer.
MoraBanc Andorra highlights Madsen as a player who, due to his physique, can play in the four and five positions, with scoring and rebounding ability. “Madsen has already successfully completed the medical examination and is available to the team to make his debut next Saturday, January 6 against UCAM Murcia,” says the club.
