Finetwork will name the F League for the next three years

The fiber and mobile operator will sponsor the highest category of women’s Spanish football, which will be renamed ‘Finetwork Liga F’

The fiber and mobile telecommunications operator Finetwork will name the highest category of women’s Spanish football, after reaching an agreement for three years with the Professional Women’s Football League (LPFF), and which will now be called ‘Finetwork Liga F’ in the 2022-23 season.

From this year on, the competition that debuts as a professional will be called ‘Finetwork Liga F’ under the motto ‘Without Finetwork, football is not spelled the same’. In addition, this agreement entails an alliance between the two that will transcend official sponsorship, and will give rise to new projects that will strengthen the growth of both brands.

For her part, the president of the F League, Beatriz Álvarez, declared that Finetwork is already part of the F League by becoming the “first and main partner”.

“It is a privilege to take this strategic step together and unite our brand with such an important company in the telecommunications sector. We will work together in our commitment to professional women’s football and we will grow together in our structure and in that of our clubs, managing to be at the forefront of new technologies. We will create many synergies, because we are not only united by a letter, ‘Liga F, F de Finetwork’, but also by a series of values ​​that will be reflected in the competition such as humility, equality, overcoming and innovation,” Álvarez said.

Based in Elda (Alicante), Finetwork already has more than 850,000 clients and currently sponsors elite athletes such as Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso and Moto2 driver Pedro Acosta. In addition, it is a sponsoring partner of the national men’s and women’s soccer and basketball teams.

It also has Betis footballer Joaquín Sánchez as its ambassador and, since the 2021-22 season, Finetwork is the main sponsor of the Betis team, Real Sociedad, Club Natació Sabadell, Recalvi Team and the Ibai Llanos and Gerard eSports team. Pique: Finework KOI.
