Several Celta de Vigo fans have been attacked this afternoon by a group of ultras, who identified themselves as members of the Ultras Sur group, near the Balaídos stadium, where both teams play this afternoon.
Two of them have had to travel to the Sergas Continuous Care Point (PAC) on Florida Street, where one had to receive “eight stitches on the forehead after being hit with a stick,” hospital sources told Efe.
Witnesses to the incidents told Efe that a hundred hooded men, “armed with sticks and brass knuckles,” showed up at a store on Eugenio Kraft Street and began to attack those present, although “the rapid” intervention of the National Police prevented the incidents from being “much more serious.”
