The England European Championship It is one of the five women’s international tournaments that will be held this July in which the international soccer players union (FIFPRO) will transfer representatives to collaborate with the players of the national teams and listen to their demands.
“These visits are about helping players understand their rights, making sure we are doing everything we can to improve their conditions and understand their experiences,” said FIFPRO Director of Global Policy and Strategic Relations for Women’s Football, Sarah Gregorius.
The FIFPRO spokeswoman pointed out that many players have requested help in certain areas and after the visit the union will speak “with the different organizers of the competitions to see how to continue improving the conditions for the players.”
