The Spanish striker Ferran Torres is now officially a FC Barcelona player, after signing a contract with the Barça club until June 2027, according to the Blaugrana entity in a statement on Tuesday.
“FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Manchester City for the transfer of Ferran Torres. The player has signed a contract with the Club for the next 5 seasons, until June 30, 2027, with a termination clause of 1,000 million euros, “said the Catalan club.
In a video shared on FC Barcelona’s social networks, the Spanish striker acknowledged being “very happy” to join “this great club.” “It will be a pride to wear this shirt,” added Ferran Torres, who appeared in that message along with the image of some young promises from the first team, who formed what the club called ‘dreamteam’.
Next Monday, January 3, from 11.00 am, the presentation of Ferram Torres as a new FC Barcelona player will take place, in a ceremony prior to the open-door training of the first soccer team, which will take place at the Camp Nou from 12.00. After training, the player will attend the media in a telematic press conference.
