The Spanish Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) confessed a “good taste in his mouth” after Saturday’s qualifying at the Mexican Grand Prix, since it was the best session for his car despite the fact that he will start this thirteenth Sunday. “a mystery” that transformed his car while waiting for the race.

Alonso explained that they did not expect a good performance this Saturday but feeling better with his Aston Martin made him optimistic. “We expected less from the time trial, it has been the best session of the entire week, let’s hope it gives us a window of hope for the weekend,” he stated, before evaluating his 400th GP.
“Celebrating 400 GP is a luxury, a privilege, to have been in Formula 1 for more than two decades. I feel very lucky and I try to take advantage of every minute. The race is tomorrow.
