It’s a third place, but Fernando Alonso it has tasted like triumph. In the first race of the Asturian driver with his new Aston Martin car at the Bahrain Grand Prix, Alonso did not hesitate to celebrate in style with his girlfriend, the Austrian journalist Andrea Schlager, who was covering the race for the Servus TV channel. Fernando is in love and he is also doing much better professionally than he expected. After reaching third place with his new team, the Spaniard recognized that “seeing that the project is going so well is something amazing. Everyone works hard; the people in the factory too, they are all like motorcycles”, is a reason for pride for him. At his age, Fernando is the oldest of all the drivers competing in the F1 World Championship: “It’s a dream come true, I thought we wouldn’t even get a podium finish in 2023”, he said, absolutely happy with the result.

Logically, Alonso celebrates any victory with his girlfriend, since she is a prestigious journalist in her country, always related to sports information, and a great fan of motor racing since her youth.
