Arón Canet and Alonso López complete the podium in Cheste

The Spanish rider Fermín Aldeguer (Boscoscuro) closed the Moto2 World Championship with a victory this Sunday at the Valencian Community Grand Prix, leading an entirely Spanish podium along with Arón Canet (Kalex) and Alonso López (Boscoscuro).
With his fifth victory of the course and the 100th victory for Spain in the Moto2 category, the Murcian confirmed his third position overall in the World Championship. In addition, he becomes the first driver to achieve four consecutive victories in the intermediate displacement since Toni Elías in 2010.
Almost four seconds behind was Saturday’s polesitter, Canet, who offered a podium to Sito Pons in his farewell to the World Championship after 42 years of experience and five world champion titles for drivers; The Barcelona native lived his last Grand Prix at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Cheste after selling the team, Pons Racing, and the Moto2 spot to MT Helmets MSi.
Third place went to Alonso López (Boscoscuro), who completed the CAG SpeedUp double by beating Marcos Ramírez (Kalex), fourth, by 21 thousandths. Thus, he closed the third consecutive Spanish treble, fifth of the season.
The Murcian Pedro Acosta (Kalex), free of any pressure after becoming champion in Sepang, finished twelfth. Additionally, Albert Arenas (Kalex) finished tenth; Manu González (Kalex) was thirteenth; Jeremy Alcoba (Kalex) sixteenth; and Alex Escrig (Forward), twenty-third.
Meanwhile, Sergio García Dols (Kalex) emerged unharmed from a shocking accident in which a motorcycle ran over him and in which Izan Guevara (Kalex) was also involved. Héctor Garzó (NTS) could not finish either.
