Fenerbahçe has qualified this Wednesday for the Final Four of the 2023/24 Euroleague after its victory in extra time by 79-80 in the fifth and final duel (2-3) of its quarter-final playoff, thanks to a decisive triple by Nick Calathes with 19.4 left.
In this way, the team now coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius reached the sixth Final Four in its history in this tournament, the first since 2019. Based on a vibrant outcome, which did justice to the intense development of the entire series, Fenerbahçe he ended up smiling.
Despite being down 77-74 with just one minute remaining in overtime, Jasikevicius’s team turned the score around with two triples from Calathes and silenced the Gaston-Médecin Hall.
