Sevilla signed Felipe Carballo in 2017 with the vitola of being one of the most promising players in Uruguay. However, the midfielder did not come to fruition. He only played 31 games with the Sevilla club affiliate and did not make his debut with the first team. Last season he was loaned to Nacional de Montevideo, his home club, and this Saturday the Uruguayan club announced the agreement reached with Sevilla for the midfielder to continue in the Uruguayan ranks.
According to the Uruguayan press, Felipe Carballo has separated from Sevilla and has signed with Nacional de Montevideo for three seasons. Sevilla paid in August 2017 about 2.5 million euros for the footballer to the Uruguayan club.
