Fekir says goodbye to the rest of the season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury

MADRID, 27 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The French midfielder for Real Betis Nabil Fekir will not play for the remainder of the 2022-2023 season after suffering a serious left knee injury last Friday in the final stretch of the match against Elche.

As indicated by the Verdiblanco team on Monday, Fekir “suffered a hyperextension of his left knee” in the clash against the French-greens and the tests he underwent confirmed the worst omens with “an anterior cruciate ligament injury.”

“The player will have to undergo surgery in the coming days to resolve this injury, the prognosis of which implies that he will miss the remainder of the season,” confirmed Betis, who lose one of their important players for the decisive stretch of the campaign.
