The Swiss Roger Federer (3) went over the Serbian Filip Krajinovic to enter the third round of the Australian Open after winning 6-1, 6-4 and 6-1.

“I am very happy and I am feeling very relaxed on the track. I am already waiting for my next game, which I hope is good too,” said the Swiss after finishing his second appearance at Melbourne Park.

Federer, who played for the twenty-first time in a row the second round in Australia, repeated the fine version he wore in his debut against American Steve Johnson.

The overwhelming superiority retained Krajinovic always far away on the scoreboard and his moments of inspiration were limited to single winning shots without any significance.

The Basel tennis player, who will look for his twenty-one Grand Slam, will have John Millman as the next rival, who beat Poland's Hubert Hurkacz (31) 6-4, 7-5 and 6-3.

The tennis player from Queensland (Australia) will be, in principle, a more complicated rival for Federer because he knows what it is to eliminate the Swiss tennis player from a Grand Slam after his victory at the 2018 Australian Open by 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7) and 7-6 (3).
