FC Barcelona’s eight Olympians return to work

MADRID, 20 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Aitana Bonmatí, Alexia Putellas, Patri Guijarro, Cata Coll, Irene Paredes, Ona Batlle, Salma Paralluelo and Vicky López, the eight FC Barcelona players who participated in the Paris Olympic Games, returned to their club’s discipline on Tuesday.

All of them have barely had any days of vacation since they met up with the Spanish national team on June 30, after finishing the F League 23-24 on the 16th, and closed their participation in Paris 2024 on August 9 where, except for Vicky López, they had a good number of minutes.

According to FC Barcelona’s website, all of these players underwent physical tests in the gym before undergoing the relevant medical examinations. They then trained individually in the afternoon and will join up with the rest of their teammates in the coming days, who are already at a higher pace. On Friday, at 6.30pm, the Joan Gamper Trophy will be held at the Estadi Johan Cruyff against AC Milan.
