After a strong win over the Raiders in Monday night football, the Lions finished NFL Week 8. Now that it’s Thursday night football, the attention turns to the games in Week 9.

We have to take the Chiefs straight up as our best NFL pick, even though they are playing the Miami Dolphins, who are also in the running for the Super Bowl. The spread is only -1.5, and this is a chance for the reigning champions to get back on track.

We expect a great back-and-forth game, but don’t get too excited about Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, or the rest of the team after their worst game of the season last week. Mahomes was sick, and the offense had a hard time getting going. The Chiefs will be ready for this game within Germany toward a top team.

The Dolphins have a 6-2 record, but the news is spreading that they haven’t beaten anyone. I can see your point, since they lost badly to the Buffalo Bills and a game that was much tighter than the score shows by 14 points to the Philadelphia Eagles.

But they’ve beaten every team that wasn’t stronger than them. Chiefs, on the other hand, are not like that. This was the only touchdown the Chiefs scored in their 24–9 loss to the Broncos.

Patrick Mahomes completed the passing game 24-38 for 243 yards and two picks. Even though they only gave up 240 yards, 153 of them were on the ground. Every game, the Dolphins run for an average of 151.8 yards.

In the NFL, that’s the best score. Last week, they got Jalen Ramsey back at cornerback, and right away you could tell because he picked away Mac Jones and forced a fumble.

The Dolphins will finally get a big win because their defense is getting better and their running game is the best in football.

Starting quarterbacks had a terrible week in Week 8. In the early window, Kirk Cousins, Desmond Ridder, Tyrod Taylor, Kirk Cousins, and Desmond Ridder all started games but didn’t finish them.

It looks like Cousins will not play again this year. Pickett says he will play on Thursday night. Stafford’s health is still unknown. This weekend, Daniel Jones and Taylor Heinicke will replace Taylor and Ridder.

We didn’t have many big games last week, but Week 9 of the NFL season has four great games.

The Seattle Seahawks play the Baltimore Ravens, the Dallas Cowboys play the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Buffalo Bills play the Cincinnati Bengals. All eyes will be on Frankfurt, Germany, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio for these games.

As NFL Week 9 starts, none of the 32 teams that played last Thursday, Sunday, and Monday are coming back from bye weeks.

But the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers, as well as Denver Broncos all take a break this weekend until Week 10. They are some of the best teams in the game.
