Europeans will start the League a week or two later

The LaLiga delegate commission already has on the table the proposal that The teams that are still in European competitions start the league championship one to two weeks later than the rest. That will condition the draw for the calendar, because the intention is that they face each other in those first days so that the other teams are not affected.

The proposal, promoted by the greats, who almost certainly give their approval, is that the teams that fall in the knockout stages of the Champions League and Europa League start the competition on September 19 and not on September 12, which is when the start of the championship is set. And that they move them to quarters (Atlético already has a guaranteed place) do not start the League until the 26th. In this way, the players of the European teams could enjoy at least two weeks of vacation and three of preseason before starting the official competition.

Then they would have to get those games back, that they will try to be among them, on the free dates offered by the calendar, although always before the end of 2020.

Another additional problem is that of the FIFA days. The European teams have two games scheduled in the first days of September. Specifically, Spain must play two Nations League matches, in Germany on day 3 and against Ukraine in a scenario yet to be determined (It could even be Valdebebas, logically behind closed doors) on the 6th. One of the proposals is that the players of those teams that are in European competitions were released from these two commitments. The issue is thorny because they are both official competition matches and UEFA is very strict when it comes to protecting their tournaments from national teams.
