Everything went wrong a few days later: “We had an argument, for me it was one more fight, although at the moment I am not going to reveal the content or the reason for it. Then the WhatsApp arrived. I thought it was an outburst but then I saw that No. There were no explanations, he has never given them to me and then I found out that it is his way of operating”. And he explains: “He had done similar things with previous partners and I asked him to please not do it with me. He told me never, that we would always be together.”

The cover scandal

Doña affirms that she did not expect the separation: “I thought it was an outburst and that he would pass,” she says. “We had differences, he had some aspirations, I others… Normal in a couple, they talk, they give in… When the cover came out announcing the wedding, he called to tell the magazine that we had broken up, why didn’t he do it before it came out? Because he had the contact and was clear about the breakup, I didn’t.”has said. “He did it to hurt me, otherwise I don’t understand.”

However, over time, he appreciates what happened: “It would have been a failed marriage so better break now. Looking at it with perspective, I agree that we were very different, it would have been absurd to get married, but I do not agree with the forms. Things have to be done well. I have had a very bad time. I would never break a relationship like that or accept it from any friend of mine, we all need an explanation”. So much so that Esther dares to say: “Neither the death of Carlos nor that of my father, both due to covid, hurt me so much. The indifference, the lack of explanations… It’s very hard”.

The former model assures that she wishes Pedraz happiness now that the storm has passed, but she still has several thorns inside: “She has only thought about him, not about the damage he does, not only to me but to my family, who have treated like another son”.
