Esperanza Aguirre and Villalobos, embroiled after the former president’s protest against Sánchez: “Fear and dread”

The former representative of the Popular Party Celia Villalobos has criticized the former president of the Community of Madrid for the same party after ‘leading’ the protest against Pedro Sanchez and their agreements this weekend in Ferraz, the street where the socialist headquarters in the capital is located. Esperanza AguirreIt even emboldened Protestants, mainly supporters of the PP and Vox. The group ended up blocking traffic in the presence of police officers.

After the commotion that Aguirre’s images have generated, Villalobos regretted this this weekend on laSexta: “It seems like a very serious mistake to me. It doesn’t represent me.” In this sense, he added: “One of the things that worries me most at the moment is the radicalization that is taking place in this country… Radicals can always fear that they will go further and that that ‘further’ will be uncontrollable”.

Thus, he lamented about the current political panorama: “This situation makes me terrified, afraid and extremely concerned.” In this way, he assures that these reactions of the citizens are dangerous regardless of the political side affected: “It seems crazy to me, as it seemed to me when they demonstrated at the door of the Popular Party or they attacked the vice president of the Government…” . And he stated: “I believe that democracy has other mechanisms to defend us.”

Aguirre listened to her former party partner, also converted into a television collaborator, and replied on the same network: “She said that I did not represent her. Maybe, we could ask the voters who represents them best.” And she lamented, regarding Sánchez’s negotiation with EH Bildu and other formations: “This story that Vox is a truly disgusting party with which nothing can be done and Bildu is phenomenal… Well no.”

At the same time, Aguirre has ended up justifying his attitude in Ferraz: “I wanted to say that we join those on the opposite sidewalk, and then I said, it would be good to cut the traffic or something like that, but what I wanted to say was that we cross.” , he said this Monday on Catalunya Ràdio.
