Espanyol plans to end the season with an audience at the RCDE Stadium

LaLiga returns in just over a week, and until the opposite is possible, the matches will be played behind closed doors, but several clubs value the possibility of having an audience in the stands before the end of this course. The last to join this list is the Spanish, who is already working on it with the idea that before the end of this season there are fans in the RCDE Stadium.

The Blue and Whites' team is developing a security protocol that enables the possibility that the matches that are played in Cornellà-El Prat don't be behind closed doors. Specifically, it works in a scenario in which, complying with the established security and social distancing measures, there would be room around a third of the total capacity, hovering between 12,000 and 15,000 spectators.

Espanyol hope to have fans at their stadium

The procedure to be followed establishes that, once the aforementioned protocol is completed, it will be forwarded to the relevant authorities for validation and the green light can be given to the return of the fans to the RCDE Stadium. In this sense, there is no specific date, but there is a desire that it arrive before the end of this season.

It should be remembered that, of the 11 matches that the Spanish before the end of this course, a total of 6 will be held at the RCDE Stadium. Specifically, in front of Alavés, Levante, Real Madrid, Leganés, Eibar and Celta, being the celestial picture the rival of the last day of LaLiga.
