The actress, who once denied having reached a financial agreement to participate in television programs, has gone to Mediaset on several occasions to repeat what she says in her complaint and reaffirm herself as a victim. Mouliaá has as much right to go to sets (whether paid or not) as we do to tell it. Sources from other networks confirm that he has refused to go to other channels, confessing that he was charging exclusivity from production companies such as Ana Rosa Quintana. Elisa Mouliaá, alleged victim of aggression at the hands of Errejón, will be on Prime Time on Telecinco this Friday to answer questions from Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona.
The former deputy of Sumar accuses the actress and presenter of seeking “economic benefit” with her complaint of sexual assault. The former politician appeared this Thursday before Judge Adolfo Carretero in the Plaza de Castilla courts, where he reiterated his innocence and described the accusation against him as “false.” Mouliaá’s complaint describes alleged acts of sexual assault that occurred at a party after the presentation of a book by Errejón. According to his story, the incidents began in an elevator, continued in the house where the event was being held and culminated in the former deputy’s home. The actress claimed to have made it clear to the politician that she did not want to have sexual relations.
During her statement, Mouliaá stated that she felt “affected” by the drinks that Errejón offered her during the party, even suspecting that he may have thrown “something” at her. However, he clarified that he never mentioned to the Police that he had locked the room where some of the events occurred, a detail that does appear in the complaint. The defense of the former leader of Más Madrid maintains that these contradictions weaken his credibility.
For his part, Errejón acknowledged that the meetings described by Mouliaá occurred, but assured that they were consensual. He stated that what happened at the party was “a trial” and that at no time did he exert coercion on the actress. At a key moment in the interrogation, the judge asked Errejón why he considered that Mouliaá had filed the complaint. His response was blunt: “She’s looking for financial gain.” According to the former deputy, the actress has tried to take advantage of the case through her media exposure, something that Mouliaá’s defense flatly denies.
The judge also questioned Mouliaá about whether he had obtained contracts since he filed the complaint. The actress assured that her life since then has been “hell” and that, if she had known the consequences, she would not have taken the step. However, sources in the media environment have indicated that the presenter has rejected offers from other channels, presumably due to an agreement with production companies such as Ana Rosa Quintana’s.
Mouliaá explained that it took her three years to report because she needed to work on her emotional stability with her therapist, who advised her not to do so until she felt ready. The actress also assured that the wave of anonymous complaints related to Errejón’s behavior gave her the necessary impetus to act.
On the other hand, Errejón stressed that his resignation from his political positions was not motivated by this complaint, but by the loss of trust within his party. He noted that he needed to focus on his defense, especially given his party’s stance of automatically believing complainants.
The case has been widely covered in the media, with Mouliaá participating in television programs to reaffirm herself as a victim. This Friday, the actress will be on Telecinco’s Prime Time, where she will answer questions from Santi Acosta and Beatriz Archidona. Errejón’s defense, for its part, plans to provide key evidence in the coming days, including messages exchanged on Instagram and testimonies from people present at the party. The prosecution will also request the statement of Mouliaá’s therapist to contrast his version. As both sides continue to defend their positions, the judge has asked attorneys to file their discovery requests in the coming days.
