Eriksson and Harder, icons of the LGTBI movement and companions

It was a kiss. A simple spontaneous kiss. A moment of happiness after going to the quarterfinals of the World Cup and that he wanted to share with his partner. A sample of natural affection, without looking for the spotlight or notoriety. However, next to it was a photographer who immortalized that moment and who went around the world that same day. Something normal became special. A symbol of equality, without fear of what they will say or be judged. Magda Eriksson, a Sweden player who had just achieved a dream, came to the stands and kissed her partner, Danish player Pernille Harder, considered one of the best in the world. With his girlfriend's shirt and a smile, he received that act of love with total normality. But they didn't know that it would turn into something extraordinary.

It was at the 2019 World Cup in France and he went around the world to become an icon of the LGTBI movement. Back then the center-back played for Chelsea, the forward for Wolfsburg. However, fate has wanted to put them together. Eriksson remains the captain of the blues in a project made to win it all. And, for this, what better way than to sign the one considered one of the best players in the world: Pernille Harder. The Danish came to put the icing on a project that already had players like Kirby or Kerr. A project to win everything that, in addition, allowed him to share a wardrobe, city and house with his partner. A plus to take the step and move to London.

For now Harder's bet on Chelsea is not going bad at all. In his first year he has already won the Cup, lifted the WSL league title and reached the Champions League final, his third, and in which he hopes this time, to lift the title. A cup that if you win it, Magdalena will raise. And for the first time he will do it with his partner in wearing the same shirt.

In their social networks and taking advantage of their image, both help through 'Play Proud', a campaign to support and empower young people from the LGTBI collective.
