Erik Moran will continue to play in Second division. After having played this last half season at Numancia, ultimately relegated to Second B, the exrojiblanco has signed for the SD Ponferradina, club that has made its incorporation official today.
The 29-year-old midfielder from Portugalete made his debut with the Athletic in November 2012 at a match of Europa League and he was fully integrated as a first team player in the 2013-14 campaign. In total he played 23 games as a lion, in which he did not score any goals.
In the winter market of the academic year 14/15 he went to Leganés to play in the Second Division. His next destination was Real Zaragoza, before returning to Leganés in the winter market of the 16/17 season to play in the First Division.
In January 2018 he joined the AEK from Athens to compete in the Greek League and the Champions League. For the 18/19 campaign he returned to Spain for military service as on loan in the Malaga. In the winter market last season he reached the CD Numancia, with whom he played 13 games in LaLiga SmartBank.
