The president of Atlético de Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, assured this Friday that Nahuel Molina, the new rojiblanco signing, was the “first option” for the right-back, confirming that with this arrival the club’s sports management “manages to fit the last piece” of the template for the next course.
“With this incorporation, our sports management manages to fit the last piece we were looking for, the right-back position was the only one that did not have two players. I want to congratulate Andrea Berta because this position will be occupied by Nahuel Molina, who was our first option” , explained the president during the presentation of the footballer at the Civitas Metropolitano as a new rojiblanco player.
Cerezo thus settles the rumors about possible new additions, such as that of the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, linked to Atlético in recent days, which caused fans and club supporters to show their disagreement for not being aligned with the values of the mattress group and its past madridista.
Regarding the 24-year-old winger, who arrives at Atleti and will wear number 16, the manager pointed out that “he has stood out at Udinese in the Italian Serie A after training and beginning his professional career in Argentina.”
