The president of Atlético de Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, described this Tuesday as “a real shame” the outburst towards a mattress fan in his team’s recent match against FC Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou, where he was relocated when another culé fan told him He rudely withdrew a Spanish flag with the shield of the visiting club.
“It’s a real shame. That there are Barcelona fans who have behaved like this with a boy who was carrying an Atlético de Madrid flag seems unworthy to me,” Cerezo declared during a promotional event, to questions from the television program ‘El Chiringuito’.
“We are going to issue a statement and, furthermore, I think we have to issue it in a very harsh manner because these types of acts must be eliminated,” added the president of Atlético. In this sense, the mattress club has invited its fans to watch the league game this Wednesday against RCD Mallorca.
