England cries out for Jarrod Bowen

This 2021-22 season is being the confirmation of Jarrod Bowen (25 years) at the highest level. After being key in the classification of the West Ham United for the Europa League, a competition in which the ‘hammers’ expect a rival having concluded the group stage as leaders of Group H, the numbers of the left-handed winger have soared at this start of the campaign and have caused the clamor of the English asking for their call with the senior team, with which he has not yet debuted.

8 goals and 10 assists

In 30 games, Bowen He has participated in nothing more and nothing less than 18 goals in all competitions, seeing the door on eight occasions -five in the Premier League, one in the Europa League, one in the Carabao Cup and another in the FA Cup- and handing out ten assists -nine in the Premier League and one in Europa League-.

When we have barely reached the halfway point of the course, the footballer born in Leominster has equaled his best scoring figure in the Premier and is just one goal pass away from equaling his usual assistant record (11) that he achieved in 2019-20, just the season in which he was transferred in the winter market to West Ham coming from Hull City, with which he had been shining in the Championsip –English Second Division-.

A performance that, together with the current level of some of the players who can take his position in the selection of the three lions, makes it very difficult not to think that Gareth Southgate I called him for the first time in view of the next appointments of the European runner-up.

Neither the ‘citizen’ Jack Grealish -three goals and three assists in 21 games- much less the ‘red devils’ Jadon Sancho -only two goals in 22 games- and Marcus Rasfhord -three goals and an assist in 15 games- are having their best year and it would not be surprising if one of them were left out of a call in which they could debut Bowen and to which others like Eric Dier (Tottenham), Ben White (Arsenal) or Mason Greenwood (Manchester United).
