En-Nesyri: “I have never seen this environment in my life”

MADRID, 20 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Moroccan footballer Youssef En-Nesyri, forward for Sevilla FC, has admitted that he had “never” seen in his life the “atmosphere” of fervor that spread through the stands of the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium this Thursday due to the classification of his team for the semifinals of the Europa League, where the sevillistas intend to “go far” after having eliminated Manchester United with a comeback and a thrashing.

“I am very happy for the two goals and very happy for the fans, who have followed us until the end. The truth is that I have never seen this environment in my life, it is the first time I have seen it, except on the day of the derby , but this was more than a derby for me,” said En-Nesyri after the game before the Movistar Plus microphones.

“We always have to be like this, that they always help us to give them more victories. I’m going to thank them for everything, I thank my teammates for the work, the coaching staff and everyone,” added the Moroccan attacker, alluding to to the joy of the fans.

In addition, En-Nesyri was pleased for having scored another two goals for Manchester United in the second leg (3-0). “We have to continue like this, we have to continue together. If we always go together, we will go far,” said the Moroccan.

Meanwhile, he appreciated the recent arrival of José Luis Mendilibar on the Seville bench. “We don’t talk about the coach or anything, the players have to give everything on the field. The coach tells you how you play, but inside you have to give it yourself,” he said.

“You yourself have to run, you have to play, you’re going to get tired, etc. And those who are going to enter the second half also know that they have to do the same and that we’re going to be together until the end,” insisted En- Nesyri, who is performing at a good level with Mendilibar as coach.

“We are going to go step by step, now we have the game next Thursday. But we are also going to think about Sunday. And in the Europa League we are going to play the next game the same as this one. We are going to give it our all, we are going to be together to win it”, concluded En-Nesyri.
