Eminem takes back his threat of a diss track aimed at Lions Ceo Ben Johnson

Eminem takes back his threat of a diss track aimed at Lions CEO Ben Johnson

The Detroit Lions kept their offensive player Ben Johnson on Tuesday. The assistant coach was put forward as a candidate for the Seattle Seahawks or Washington Commanders head coaching jobs that were open. But it looks like he’s called Ford Field home until the roof falls off.

When Slim Shady heard the news, he took back his threat to put out a diss track against Johnson and said he would continue to back coach Dan Campbell.

When the Lions were kicked out of the playoffs after winning the NFC championship, he gave fans some words of hope. He was there to cheer them on.

“Ben Johnson, if he leaves us, buddy… In the interview that came out on Sunday, he said, “Ben Johnson, don’t leave us, this tape is coming.” “This song is on the way.

“Please stay with us for one more year.” Right now, our team is great. There’s nothing we can do. “I mean, I am even reluctant to change the hat I wore last week.”

Eminem made a name for himself in rap with lyrics that were honest and sometimes shocking. In the movie “8 Mile,” which took place in his life as a battle rapper, he played Jimmy aka B-Rabbit. In real life, he raps about Ja Rule, Will Smith, and Machine Gun Kelly, among other people.

This season was historic for the Lions because they won their first playoff game in 32 years and won their inaugural division title in 30 years. Jared Goff threw for 4,575 yards, which was the second-most in the NFL while Johnson was in charge.

Detroit ran for 509 yards, which was fifth in the league. In his second season, David Montgomery rushed for 1,000 yards, and junior Jahmyr Gibbs added 945 yards on the ground.

“I guess I ought to stop recording this rap song!” “Lol!!” the rapper from Detroit and a Lions fan wrote on X on Tuesday. This is Ben Johnson. Thanks for staying!!! We can’t split up this team, even more so since I’m on it!!!”

In case you missed it, Eminem had joked on his SiriusXM radio show Shade 45 over the weekend that he would record an attack song against Johnson if he quit the Lions.

Eminem went to the NFC Championship game on Sunday to cheer for the Lions, but his team lost to the San Francisco 49ers 34–31. He also went to both of the Lions’ playoff games that Ford Field this season.

Six NFL teams were interested in hiring Johnson as their head coach, but he reportedly told the two teams that still need to hire someone that he plans to stay in Detroit as the Lions’ offensive coordinator. Johnson has been a big part of the Lions’ success this season.

At the Jan. 22–23 meeting, the board talked more about leaving the current policy settings soon. Some members said that the conditions that would allow a move are getting better.

A summary of the opinions said that one of the nine board members said, “It seems that conditions over policy revision, including the end of the zero percent interest policy, are being met.”

Another point of view said that the BOJ wouldn’t be able to get out of the side effects of its current actions until the next recovery phase if it doesn’t act now before other significant global central banks like the Federal Reserve change their policies. The member said, “Now is a golden chance.”

When the summary came out, Japan’s currency went up by as much as 0.3% before losing some of its value. At the same time, 10-year bond yields went up by more than four basis points to 0.75%.

The official said that this year’s annual wage negotiations were likely to go better and that there were signs that the economy and inflation were getting better.

The comments didn’t make it clear which month BOJ Governor Kazuo Ueda is going to choose to end the world’s last negative interest rate, but they did send a stronger message that rates are likely to go up soon.
