Emerson Royal already has a presentation day: Monday, August 2

FC Barcelona announced that Emerson Royal will be presented this Monday, August 2 as the club's fourth reinforcement for next season, after Kun Agüero, Eric García and Memphis Depay. As is usual in this type of event, the signature will first be made official at 6:00 p.m. with the presence of President Joan Laporta, to later, at 6.30 p.m., dress short for the photo shoot at the Camp Nou and finally the press conference at the Blaugrana stadium at 7 pm. Once again, the presentation will be behind closed doors for the public because of the sanitary regulations against covid19.

Emerson arrives at Barcelona to reinforce the right side, so presumably he will compete with Sergiño Dest for a place. On his way through Betis already proved to be a player with great physical conditions and some important resources to raise the band and help in the offensive phase of the team.

For now, he is the only player this summer that Barcelona has had to pay an amount to get his services, since shared with Betis the rights of his signing, having to pay about 6 million plus 3 more compensation to the green-and-white team, so that Emerson plays as a Blaugrana.
