The collection of Mr. Elton John: Goodbye Peachtree Road will be made up of eight auctions in which objects that the artist kept until now in his luxurious Atlanta penthouse will be sold, and which will include from haute couture clothing to the piano in your living room or furniture that decorated their house.

The superstar sold the apartment last fall that she shared with her husband in the capital of the North American state of Georgia, and the objects that will go on sale are the product of her collector's side, since for three decades she has collected photographs, works of art contemporary, furniture and fashion items.

The most expensive item in the auction is a 2017 painting by Banksy, in which a masked man is portrayed with a bouquet of flowers. It is expected to sell for almost $1.5 million.

Also noteworthy is the sale of Yamaha piano with which the artist composed the songs of Broadway shows Billy Elliot and Aidawhich will go on sale for an estimated $30,000 to $50,000, according to Christie's.

In addition, some of her eccentric clothes will be auctioned, such as an ivory and gold outfit designed by Annie Reavey (estimated at between $8,000 and $12,000), a silver leather platform boots (between $5,000 and $10,000) or two dresses with the aesthetics of the French king Louis XIV designed by Sandy Powell for the artist's 47th birthday (between $10,000 and $15,000).

Versace designs are the main protagonists of this auction, and a batch of seven shirts from the brand will go on the market (between $4,000 and $6,000), a necklace with a crucifix made of diamonds (between 7,000 and 10,000 dollars) and even a couple of chairsalso in the Louis XIV style (between $500 and $800), among other items.

This is the first auction of belongings of Elton John in 21 years. In 2003, Sotheby's auctioned a series of products from its house in London in London, and in 1988, it sold some pieces of art and other rarities that it owned, such as a painting by René Magritte or a pair of silver baskets that it used like dishes.
