Elche takes planning easy after nine months of stress

Elche, after having agonizingly achieved permanence in the First Division last week, sports planning has been taken in stride of the next course after ten months of stress in which he had to change his staff and, later, reinforce it to compete in the elite.

The group from Elche was promoted to First, against all odds, at the end of August and in just ten days he had to remodel his team to compete in the highest categorya, although leaving options to shore up the group in the winter market.

The bad dynamics of the team forced changes in January, but the option of having free chips gave the sports management, led by Nico Rodríguez, the possibility of continuing to track the market until March, when Pablo Piatti arrived.

The club, owned by the Argentine soccer entrepreneur Christian Bragarnik, sHe has only made two moves in recent weeks: the purchase of Lucas Boyé, which was loaned by Torino, and the sale to Sao Paulo of Emiliano Rigoni.

Many operations remain pending, including two that are the ones that most concern the fans, such as lthe renewals of coach Fran Escribá and the forward and captain Juan Francisco Martínez ‘Nino’, the player with the most games and goals in the history of the entity.

As for the Valencian coach, both Bragarnik and Escribá they have publicly stated your desire to extend the engagement. They did it before permanence was achieved, so after the success, it is only a matter of time before the agreement between the owner and the best coach of Elche in the 21st century is formalized.

Nino's case is sensitive stuff. The club wants the forward, who renews year after year, to decide its future. The attacker, who has played a marginal role this season (he has not started in any league match) is thinking about it.

The issue of the renewals of A is also pending.ntonio Barragán, Dani Calvo, Nuke Mfulu and Víctor Rodríguez, who finish the contract, and to know if Elche makes any purchase movement for the ceded Paulo gazzaniga, goalkeeper who will no longer continue at Tottenham Hotspur, and the Colombian Johan Mojica, on loan from Girona.

The sports area of the club admits that it has taken a few days of rest after a few intense months and that, unlike last year, there is time and deadlines to design a template that offers guarantees of success.
