Elche says goodbye to Piatti

Elche, through a message on their social networks, said goodbye this Wednesday to their Argentine striker Pablo Piatti whose contract ends on June 30, and has thanked him for his collaboration in achieving the last two stays in the First Division.

“Thank you Pitti. With you we achieved two historic stays in LaLiga. Good luck on your return home, ”says the club in its official accounts.

Piatti, who has signed for Estudiantes de La Plata of his country, came to Elche in March 2020, outside the winter market, since the player was unemployed and the club had dates off. Previously he had played in Spain in the Almeria, Valencia and Espanyol.

In his first season he participated in nine games, three as a starter, while in the past, already in the team since the beginning of the course, he only participated in ten, also three as a starter, although without completing the ninety minutes in any of them.
