eLaLiga Santander returns in January with Santander, PlayStation, El Corte Inglés and HUDstats as sponsors

MADRID, 27 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The eLaLiga Santander, in collaboration between LaLiga and Electronic Arts Inc, will start its sixth season on January 28, with Banco Santander, El Corte Inglés and PlayStation repeating as main sponsors, a list of brands to which HUDstats is added, according to a report employer’s statement.

From LaLiga they thanked the commitment of the sponsors with an already “consolidated” project. “The progress of eLaLiga Santander has been possible and has been consolidated thanks to the presence of sponsor brands that trust in the project. In addition, without the firm commitment of our co-organiser, Electronic Arts and without the support of our title sponsor, Banco Santander, the growth of the competition would not have been such”, affirmed the director of Digital Strategy, Alfredo Bermejo.

For his part, the director of institutional relations and sponsorship of El Corte Inglés, Jaime Fernández-Bravo Bernaldo de Quirós, highlighted the importance of the agreement. “It is one more step that reinforces the focus that El Corte Inglés has placed on the gaming world, recently reinforced with the change of naming on its social networks. The agreement will allow activations, generate exclusive actions and surprises for video game fans, thus generating additional value for the competition”, he pointed out.

In addition, the New Business Director of PlayStation Spain, Roberto Yeste, confirmed the importance of the agreement for the world of sports. “eLaLiga is not just a competition, but a constantly evolving entertainment ecosystem that integrates both football and esports. In addition, we share social and sporting values, promoting quality interactive entertainment where everyone has a place and simultaneously integrating the new technologies,” he added.

Finally, the CEO of HUDstats, Andrei Bãlãnescu, CEO of HUDstats, was “delighted” to become part of this project. “eLaLiga is one of the most exciting esports leagues in the world, and we are delighted to bring our technology to help elevate the competition experience with detailed match and player statistics, advanced analytics and highlights,” he said.

“This will allow us to bring an additional layer of depth to the storytelling of the competition, allowing the millions of eLaLiga fans to have full access to all the stories of the competition and enjoy a complete experience. We are delighted to share this vision with so many great partners, as we are sure it will meet the expectations of the fans,” he concluded.
