El Rayo finds no opposition in Las Palmas

A goal from Antonio Cortés' Antoñín'and another from Portuguese Tiago Manuel Dias' Baby', both in the second half, allowed Rayo Vallecano to add three important points that keep him in promotion of promotion at the expense of UD Las Palmas, who only counted one shot on goal in the entire game and has not won this season as a visitor.

The first part had a leading team, Rayo, who twenty minutes already counted four scoring chances, some of which he derailed with his performances Alex Dominguez, like a powerful shot from the edge of Isi Palazón that sent a corner with a lot of trouble.

The Canarian team entered with a march less than their rival to the grass and their performance did not help the two early players either changes that Pepe Mel had to do for each injury of Cristián Cedrés and Dani Castellano.

Rayo's dominance translated into a goal in the 59th minute when Isi Palazon picked up a ball in depth and, when going to shoot, a push sand turned Antoñín into a pass, who only had to put one leg to send the ball to the bottom of the tights.

With the goal, Rayo did not relax and he continued to take the offensive initiative, although his approaches began to carry less and less danger as he felt little threatened by the Canarian team, which ended the game with only one shot on goal with a header from Alex Suárez in the first half.

With four minutes remaining, a defensive failure by Athuman, who lost a high heel ball to the stalking Baby, allowed the Portuguese to race towards the goal of Alexander Domínguez and cross a shot to score the second.

With victory, the Ray remains in the promotion positions with 31 points, while Las Palmas, which has not won as a visitor so far this season, is left with 23, each time closer to relegation.
