El Rayo approves its accounts with the opposition of minority shareholders

The directive of the Vallecano Ray approved this Friday the annual accounts at the General Meeting held in the Ciudad Deportiva with the opposition of minority shareholders, who, through a statement, announced that they will try to judicially challenge the Meeting for an “error” in said accounts.

With a quorum of 97.97% of the shareholders present on the Board, the board of directors of the Lightning approved the annual accounts, the Management Report and the proposal for the application of the results for the year ended June 30, 2021.

In addition, during the Meeting the green light was given to the management and action of the Board of Directors during the 2020-2021 financial year by 99.88% of the shareholders represented.

Dissatisfied with the management of the board that presides Raúl Martín Presa, the minority shareholders issued a statement by which they assure that they will challenge the Shareholders’ Meeting and the accounts presented by the club, by “detecting irregularities in the accounts” provided, with an error of almost 180,000 euros between the accounts presented and the report in the item ‘Amortization of acquisition rights for players inscribable in the LFP’.
