Eintracht, champion of the Europa League on penalties

MADRID, 18 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Eintratch Frankfurt was proclaimed champion of the 2021-22 Europa League after beating Rangers in the final on penalties (5-4) after overcoming extra time with a draw (1-1) thanks to goals from Aribo and Santos Borre.

The Germans, executioners of Betis and Barcelona on their way to the final, had to suffer the bravery of the Scots but soon found the goal that gave them the equalizer. On penalties, Santos Borré scored the final after Aaron Ramsey’s decision.
