Eibar visits an Ibiza in low hours to take another bite of promotion

MADRID, 7 Apr. (SportsFinding) –

Eibar faces Ibiza this Sunday at Can Misses (6:15 p.m.) with the aim of taking another bite out of promotion, in a match corresponding to matchday 35 of the Smartbank League, which will be closely watched by Valladolid and Almería, their immediate pursuers to three and four points, respectively.

Gaizka Garitano’s team, leader of the championship since last January, continues to successfully pave the way to reopen the doors of the First Division. This Sunday they will face Ibiza led by Paco Jémez, who has accumulated five games without a win and has moved away from the ‘playoff’ zone. In addition, the islanders are one of the worst hosts in the category with five wins in 17 home games.

Very aware of the armory result will be Valladolid, second in the table, and Almería, third, who face Málaga and Ponferradina in games of different depth. The pucelanos add two wins in a row and are in a good moment of form. They play at home against a rival that fights not to fall to relegation.

While Rubi’s Almería will have a difficult ballot on Monday at the end of the day against Ponferradina. The Andalusians play at home and recover Ramazani, Puigmal and Costa, although they lose Juan Villar and Sergio Akieme through suspension. The Bercianos, for their part, are seventh tied on points with sixth, Oviedo.

Those of ‘Cuco’ Ziganda receive at home a Leganés who wants to believe again after his comeback against Fuenlabrada. The Asturians total 10 of the last 12 points in their sprint to access the promotion positions, an area always tight when there are eight chapters left for the end of the regular championship.
