Midfielder Edu Expósito will play for the next five seasons at RCD Espanyol, after the Catalan club and SD Eibar reached an agreement on Monday for his transfer, which makes him the sixth signing of the parakeet team for the 2022 academic year. 2. 3.
The 26-year-old Catalan arrived at Eibar, with whom he made his debut in the First Division, in the summer of 2019 from RC Deportivo de la Coruña, and in his three seasons as a gunsmith he played 117 games, scoring 13 goals and dishing out 10 assists .
Last season, the midfielder played 45 games under Garitano, scoring nine goals and providing three assists, with a total of 3,612 minutes played. The previous campaign, 2020-21, Expósito completed 34 games, while in 2019-20 it was 38.
The Basque entity wanted to say goodbye to the Catalan footballer, thanking him for “his commitment and professionalism” in the three campaigns in which he has been at the club. “SD Eibar wishes him the best of luck in the future,” he said.
