I'm going to confess something. My boss deserves a gigantic monument. He lets me jog along the corridor of the office.
You will see All my coworkers are a few smokers. They spend half an hour smoking outside on the street. Well, that every time they go outside to smoke, which are many times throughout the workday. They spend more time smoking than working. So, since I am the only worker in the company who neither smokes nor drinks coffee, because drugs pass (tobacco and coffee are drugs), I told my boss one day that I was also entitled to my half hour of break. That even seemed excessive to rest for half an hour at a time.
And, since I like healthy life, for several months now, I have sneakers (“bambas”), which I brought from home, which I keep – under lock and key – in an office closet.
I take off my shoes and put on my shoes. And, since the office corridor is quite long (30 meters in a straight line, at least), I practice “jogging” for half an hour.
Neither gym nor hosts. Of course, my boss forbids me to run with shoes, since it would make a lot of noise.
My boss is a saint. He is the best boss in the world. I am very grateful that it allows me to do something so unusual, such as jogging in an office. In fact, jogging is not exactly resting. Hahaha. It is to sweat the fat drop. “To sweat the fat drop”, as Dominican bachatero Joe Veras sang in his song “The fat drop” (1998).
Of course, then all my coworkers tell me: “hey, you stink of sweat.” And I answer: “Well, you all stink of tobacco, pores and brandy, which is much worse.”
